ACES SPORTS BAR vs PETSAS RESTAURANT

Match 1 was between Frenchy for Aces and Achileas for Petsas Restaurant. After two frames the score was 1-1, so a deciding leg was required. This final frame was won by Achileas to give Petsas 2 points. The 2nd match featured Omar against Pampos. Omar’s potting ability shone through to take the match 2-0 and 3 points to Aces. The 3rd match between Panni and Roy. It was Roy who took the 1st 2 frames and 3 points for The Restaurant Team.

The 4th match was between Billy for Aces and Canadian Mike. After the first two games the scores were level. The third game was then won by Mike giving Petsas 2 points. Match 5. This contest was between Rob and Aristos. Aristos’s potting took the match 0-2, getting another 3 points and the overall win for Petsas Restaurant.

The final match was played between the captains of both teams, Spyros and Dimitris. Despite Dimitris best effort, he could not stop Spyros winning 2-0 and taking the final 3 points.

PETSAS RANGERS vs THE MEETING PUB

With Sandy, The Meeting Pub Captain taking a rest in hospital, Gary, the new landlord, took the lead. All good health wishes for Sandy and hope he is back soon.

This 1st match was between Chris for Rangers and Mo for The Meeting Pub. Chris’s potting ability took the match 2-0 and 3 points to Rangers. The 2nd match between Paul and Bob went 1 all, followed by the deciding frame being taken by Bob Giving The Meeting Pub 2 points. Match 3 was a battle between Mark P and new landlord Gary. After two close matches the score was 1-1. The last match went back and forth until Mark managed to pot his last 2 reds and black to take the game and the 2 points.

Match 4 was a contest between Mark F and Glenn. After 2 games the scores were level, needing a third game to decide a winner. Mark F potted his way through to win the third game, collecting 2 points for Rangers. The 5th match was between Peter and Jason. Thanks to Jason fouling on the back, Pete took the 1st frame, the 2nd won by Jason leaving the winner down to the last game. This game was won by Jason to give Meeting Pub the 2 points.

So the last match… Meeting pub needs a 0-2 win to take it to a play off game, and Rangers needing just 1 point to take the win on the night. The last match was between stalwart Terry and Big Lee. Terry took the 1st game to seal victory for Petsas. Lee then took the second game, to leave a final game which was also won by Terry to take the last 2 points of the evening.
