ACES SPORTS BAR vs THE GODFATHER
This was played on Monday night, due to Aces not able to fulfill fixture on previous Wednesday. The Godfather, only having 5 players.
Match 1 was between Aces new signing Arron Atkins and Simon for The Godfather. A decider was required after two frames which was won by Arron to give Aces the 2 points. The 2nd match was between a 2nd signing for Aces and Godfathers Brooke. Again, after two frames, a third decider was played which was won by Lee to give Aces another 2 points. The 3rd match was between Rob and Steve. Steve took all 3 points for The Godfather after winning the 1st two frames.

The 4th match was between Billy and Kellie. The score was again 1-1, with the decider taken by Kellie to give The Godfather two points. The 5th game was played by Panni and Sway. After just two games it was Panni with the victory and 3 points for Aces.

The final match was played by Spyros for Aces. The random selection for The Godfathers last player put Steve B back into play. A crucial last match with Spyros needing at least a 2-1 score for Aces to get the night win, and Steve needing a 0-2 win to take it for The Godfather or a 1-2 win for Steve and a playoff decider. After two games it was 1-1, and so the tension of the last game pursued but Steve shone through to win the last frame and take the score to a draw.

THE PLAYOFF... a nerve ending last game playoff was needed. The players selected by their teams were Spyros for Aces and Steve for Godfather and a rematch of the last game. In the end it was Spyros who was triumphant to give Aces the win on the night. Phoebe was well chuffed with her daddy.
